The Samsung Galaxy S2 Phantom Button Press!

After several months with working with Sprint on line and the Sprint Store I continue to have the same problem with my S2. This was the letter to Sprint looking for a solution. I am having the same problem as before. The phantom button press. When in a LOW 3G location the lower buttons act like they are being pressed. This is a Samsung S2. I have been into the Sprint Store several times (look at my account) and this past weekend they replaced my phone with another S2. I am having the same problem. If the S2 has a known issue why does Sprint not force Samsung to take care of this or offer a ???like kind or better??? replacement. I am asking you to reset my eligibility so that I can start fresh with a new contract and a new phone. I am not paying any upgrade fee....

The new HTC EVO LTE is right around the corner and the reviews are mixed! Sure the specs on the phone are amazing but it seems that there are antenna challenges that just about kill any positive comments about the new phone. As an owner of an HTC EVO 4G (the original) I can tell you that I have never really been able to take advantage of its WIMAX 4G service. I do not believe that my needs have changed yet I feel like the service I am getting has, or more to the point my coverage has gotten worse. When I first heard about the new EVO I actually got excited but as the reviews begin to circulate I think it’s time to explore my options. Do I get a...

HTC EVO Update June 6th

( from Engadget ) Well, this was inevitable. After Sprint’s website snafu outing its Android 2.3 intentions for the EVO 4G, we’ve received evidence that points to June 6th as its release date. Better yet, if you’re willing to manually check for its availability, you might even find a happy surprise this Friday. In addition to Gingerbread, users will find SMS and Gmail fixes, along with a tweak to the phone’s power management software. Hopefully you’ve got WiMAX, because this update is coming over-the-air. Should everything go according to plan, users will have less than a week to say goodbye to Froyo. It’s a trusty companion for sure, but that spicy aroma is quite enticing. Hit the break for some corroborating clues.

HTC Hero … 2.1 update?

I know there seems to be a lot of news and rumors out there regarding the Android 2.1 for the HTC hero. I am also aware that the screen shot from Best Buy. I have also seen it in person. YES I have seen it in person at Best Buy however I cannot say how I saw it or got access to it. I spent some time talking with associates about the new version and they too were convinced it’s going to happen. I’m not trying to add to the rumors and I too am waiting for this update. Just like you I will just have to wait and see what happens. Everyone is pissed off but I would like to know HOW Best Buy can send this memo to its employees and I have not seen one statement from them regarding this latest DATE. So with NO update from...
